New tools & code! T3 stack, ElectricSQL, MultiOn, SearchGPT and more!

• In case you haven’t been using T3 Stack (I again used it in my new QuickSearchMySite project), it’s really getting better for setting up a new website project. What it does? It provides your web app a typesafe API from frontend to backend. Screenshot time:

Tools

• I heard about ElectricSQL in the DevTools podcast, it’s a local-first conflict-free database. Amazing technology, definitely going to play with that!

• Uni Stack is a typesafe setup to build full stack React Native universal apps

• Swappy is a framework-agnostic tool that converts any layout into a drag-to-swap

• MultiOn - Scrape website with AI, works ok, but it got stuck for searching with some advanced filter for housing (not this screenshot). Interesting concept though.

  

AI

• OpenAI released SearchGPT, a direct competitor with perplexity and Google. You can join the waitinglist. I did 😀 

• Lama 3.1 is out with 400 billion parameters. Insane.This will crank up competition

• There is new school called Eureka Labs, it’s an AI school founded by Andrej Karpathy (ex employee Tesla, and OpenAI)
